untitled1 Woodrow Wilson Teets Woodrow Wilson Teets, age 93, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, September 11, 2010 at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born October 20, 1916 in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late Grover C. and Eva Hornbeck Teets. On July 17, 1939 he married Fay Lucille Worcester who preceded him in death on February 26, 2002. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Louis, Gordon and Billy Ford Teets and two sisters, Virginia Carr and Betty Lou Blackburn. He is survived by one daughter, Linda Kay Gardner of Lynn Haven, FL; one son, Jerry Alan Teets and wife Linda Lou of Davenport, FL; one brother, Charles Teets and wife Glenna of FL; one sister, Mary Smith of Sistersville, WV and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Teets was a carpenter. He was a member of the Tennerton Lions Club, Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663, and Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion, a member of the Silver-Haired Legislature and participated in the Corridor H coordination. He worked for NASA at the Kennedy Space Center during the Apollo Program. Friends will be received Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lori McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Church Cemetery in Hampton, WV. VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion and DAV Chapters # 5 & # 36 will conduct military honors at the graveside.
