Union Church Cemetery Ida Belle Tenney Ida Belle Tenney, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, November 22, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born October 23, 1923 in Tallmansville, WV, a daughter of the late Virgil and Ora Belle Fox Ours. On June 22, 1940 she married Arnold Tenney who preceded her in death on December 2, 1994. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Christopher and Kevin Tenney; two sisters, Wilda and Izella Tenney and two brothers, Harold and Sanford Ours. She is survived by two sons, Gohen C. Tenney of Buckhannon, WV and Vernon Irvin Tenney and wife Barbara of Buckhannon; one daughter, Carolyn Sue Cussins and husband John of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Doug Tenney and wife Melissa of Buckhannon and Daniel Irvin Tenney of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Charlotte Tenney and husband Mark of Lexington, KY; four great-granddaughters, Julia C. Tenney of Buckhannon, Sarah Vance of Ellamore, Devan Tenney of Lexington and DeAnna Tenney of Lexington; two brothers, Noble Ours of Rittman, OH and Robert Ours of Buckhannon and two sisters, Betty Gifford of Buckhannon and Patty Mahan of TX. Mrs. Tenney was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and cooking. She was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness. Friends will be received Saturday, November 28, 2009 from 1-2 PM the funeral hour with the Elder Arthur Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Church Cemetery in Buckhannon.
