TenneyLarry Larry Michael Tenney Larry Michael Tenney, age 65, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born August 27, 1942 in Randolph County, WV, a son of Mamie L. Smith Tenney of Buckhannon and the late Ura O. Tenney. In addition to his mother he is survived by one sister, Barbara Lipscomb and husband Mac of Reedsville, WV; one brother, Garry Tenney and wife Alice of St. Petersburg, FL; a nephew, Ryan Lipscomb of Reedsville and several aunts and uncles. Mr. Tenney was retired from the US Army with twenty years of service, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a Methodist by faith, a member of the Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663 and the Library Club. Friends will be received Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 5-9 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. He will Lie in state from 12-1 PM the funeral hour on Friday at the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church with Rev. William C. Eskew, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Church Cemetery at Hemlock, WV. Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion, DAV Chapter # 5 & # 36 will conduct Military Honors at the graveside.
