ThomasEva Eva L. Thomas Eva L. Thomas, age 93 of Cleveland, OH died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Normandy Manor Nursing Home in Rocky River, OH. She was born May 9, 1914 at Silica, WV, a daughter of the late Frank and Ida Daft Sines. On February 2, 1931 she married Albert Gordon Thomas who preceded her in death on February 1, 1981. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Thomas; two grandsons, Mike Eubank and Rick Fitzgerald; three sisters, Pearl Longdon, Elsie Wilde and Elva Evans and one brother, Arlie Sines. Mrs. Thomas is survived by three daughters, Alberta Fitzgerald of Dennison, OH, Judy Eubank of Cleveland and Ida M. Tenney and husband Ron of Clover, SC; two sons, Jim Thomas and wife Edie of Elizabethton, TN and John Thomas and wife Kathy of Elk Grove Village, IL; one sister, Lenora Loudin of Florida; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren and twenty-seven great great-grandchildren. She was a nurses aide and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Friends will be received from 5-8 PM on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10 AM, Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bradley Tenney officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Dale Church Cemetery at Selbyville, WV.
