Obituary of Sharon Sue Oldaker

Sharon Sue Oldaker Sharon Sue Oldaker Sharon Sue Oldaker, age 67, of Buckhannon, WV passed away April 7, 2014, at United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV. She was born September 17, 1946 in West Union, WV a daughter of the late Minter Edward and Mary Katherine Courtney Dennison. Mrs. Oldaker is survived by her loving husband Danny B. Oldaker of Buckhannon and three children, Sherri Walton, Russell Nestor and wife Christina, and Justin Oldaker and wife Erica all of Buckhannon; three grandchildren, Joshua Beckner, Emily Nestor, and Braylon Oldaker all of Buckhannon; two sisters, Tammy Westfall and husband Steve of Fairmont and Linda Shaffer of Buckhannon. Mrs. Oldaker was a local business owner in Buckhannon for several years and later became a very skilled cake decorator at Walmart in Buckhannon. Sharon took great pride in her work designing cakes and thoroughly enjoyed bringing happiness to the local community. Her wonderful spirit, joy, and talents will be greatly missed. Sharon had many other interests and hobbies that included her artistic abilities that will also be missed. She was an excellent painter, craft enthusiast, and loved taking care of her family. Mrs. Oldaker truly loved her husband, children, and her grandchildren. Sharon was a Baptist by faith. Friends will be received Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 10 AM – 12 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Kesling Mill Cemetery in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
