untitled3 Larry “Jeff” Spencer Larry “Jeff” Spencer, age 69, of Marlinton, WV, died Thursday, December 5, 2013 at his home. Jeff was a retired insurance agent and attended Swago United Methodist Church of Buckeye, WV. He was born December 20, 1943 at Webster Springs the son of the late Hertzel and Margaret Looman Spencer. In addition to his parents, a brother, Robert Spencer preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Linda Landis Spencer; daughters, Robin Nesbitt and husband Dave and Carrie Tenney and husband Marshall all of Buckhannon; brothers, Roger Spencer and wife Bonita, Mark Spencer and wife Kristie all of Buckhannon; three grandchildren, Ashton, Emily and Brett. Arrangements are being handled by VanReenen Funeral Home in Marlinton, WV where the family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday, December 7, 2013 and at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home in Buckhannon, WV from 6-9 PM on Sunday, December 8, 2013. Funeral service will be at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home at 2 PM Monday, December 9, 2013 with the Rev. David Merryman and the Rev. Robert Mann officiating. Interment will be at Lorentz Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Marlinton Fire Department. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
