untitled3 Mary Margaret Tacy Sharp Mary Margaret Tacy Sharp, age 76, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, November 25, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born January 28, 1937 in Cass, WV, a daughter of the late Ollie and Rella Cassel Tacy. On August 13, 1953 she married Stanford Sharp who survives. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons Robert Sharp of Pittsburgh, PA and David L. Sharp and wife Sonia of Buffalo, NY; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Dallas “Jack” Tacy and wife Ruth and Charles Tacy and wife Louise all of Buckhannon; one sister, Judy Spear and husband Harold of Bartow, WV and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in by two sons, Dennis M. and Joseph N. Sharp. Mrs. Sharp was a seamstress, also a member of the Way of Holiness in Buckhannon and a member of the Red Hats. Mary loved to make cards. Friends will be received Friday, November 29, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the Way of Holiness. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday at the church with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Marlinton, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
