Obituary of Victor Ray Scott

untitled3 Victor Ray Scott Victor Ray Scott, age 62, of Elyria, OH died Monday, September 9, 2013 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph’s in Elyria. He was born November 7, 1950 in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late Willard and Genive Tenney Scott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Steve Scott; two brothers, Franklin and Richard Scott and one sister, Ruth Sothen. He is survived by one son, Allen Scott of Elyria; two granddaughters, Ariel Scott of FL and Paige Scott of OH; one grandson, Travis Hannock of OH; three brothers, Gene and Willard Scott of Buckhannon and William Scott of CA and one sister, Rosemary Tenney of Buckhannon. Mr. Scott was an auto worker for Ford Motor Co. from which he retired with 31 years of service. Friends will be received Friday, September 13, 2013 from 12 noon until 2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home where a funeral service will begin at 2 PM with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Church Cemetery at Hemlock, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
