untitled3 Mary “Betty” Elizabeth Smith Mary “Betty” Elizabeth Smith, age 87, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born November 1, 1925 in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence and Agnes Kittle Cutright. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, James M. Manley and 2nd husband, Bernard Smith; infant sister, Rida Louise Cutright and one brother, Denzil Cutright. She is survived by one son, Jim Manley and wife Rebecca of Princeton, WV; two daughters, Jewell Hosaflook and husband Danny and Judy Murphy all of Ocala, FL; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Buena Ulm of Jane Lew, WV and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Smith was a clerk for GC Murphy Company. Per her request a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
