Virgina Scott Virginia Scott Virginia Scott, age 93, of Buckhannon, WV, died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Serenity Care Home in Buckhannon. She was born February 24, 1919 in Beverly, WV, a daughter of the late William M. and Edna Thomason Wilfong. On December 28, 1941 she married William Coy Scott who preceded her in death on January 23, 2002. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by five sisters, Viola Cutright, Gail Lewis, Laura Cutright, Dove Bonner and Nettie Simms and three brothers, Cecil, Laco and Martin Wilfong. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Scott was a Beautician and a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church of Buckhannon. She was devoted to the neighbors, family and the church. Friends will be received Monday, February 4, 2013 from 4-7 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Tuesday at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ronald M. McCauley officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
