untitled2 Eugene J. Sapp Eugene J. Sapp, age 82, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, December 19, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born December 2, 1929 in Grafton, WV, a son of the late Eddie and Virgie Williams Sapp. On November 25, 1954 he married Marcelene A. Saucer who survives. Also surviving are one son, Timothy Sapp of Buckhannon; one daughter, Sheri-Lyn Sapp of Buckhannon and one sister, Lillian Reese of Grafton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Willidian Wilcox. Mr. Sapp served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was president of the Upshur County Farm Bureau, a member of the WV State Cattleman’s Assoc. and WV State Livestock Assoc. He was the owner of Valley View Farms on Spruce Fork Road, was still active in Public Accounting and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Friends will be received Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Cutright and Pastor Kingsley Whitsett officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park.
