Obituary of Michael Lee Smallwood

untitled3 Michael Lee Smallwood Michael Lee Smallwood, age 43, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at his home. He was born February 13, 1969 in Buckhannon a son of Susan Smallwood Helmick of Buckhannon. In addition to his mother he is survived by his step father, Larry Helmick of Buckhannon; two daughters, Kristen Michelle Smith and husband Scott of Boliva, TN and Amber Marie Smallwood of Opelika, AL; one son, Allan Michael Smallwood of Opelika; one granddaughter, Skyler Grace Smallwood of Opelika; one grandson, Scotty Smith of Boliva; one brother, Stephen Douglas Moore and wife Amy of Buckhannon; three step brothers, Robert Helmick and Edith of Horner, WV, David Helmick and wife Sharon of Buckhannon and Shannon Helmick and wife Addie of Hinkleville, WV; one step sister, Teresa Bosley of Horner; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Smallwood worked for Jenkins Ford in the auto body shop as a painter. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Saturday, Novembr 3, 2012 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Kara Phillippi officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Cave Cemetery.
