untitled2 Larry K. Stackpole Larry K. Stackpole, age 65, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at his home. He was born September 1, 1945 in Lumberport, WV, a son of Lotus Ray and Vada Cain Stackpole. On June 5, 1965 he married Sharon Fortney who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Sherry Donovan and husband Devin of Hagerstown, MD and Susan Hollen and husband Brian of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Christina Montgomery and husband Chris of Martinsburg, WV; one grandson, Brian “BZ” Hollen, II and wife Alyssa of Buckhannon; one great grandson, Brayden Montgomery of Martinsburg; three step granddaughters, Breanna Sowder and husband Josh of Martinsburg, Danielle Donovan of Smithburg, MD and Allison Donovan of Boonsboro, MD; two step great granddaughters, Morgan and Nora Sowder both of Martinsburg; three sisters, Wilma Cumbridge and husband Raymond of Akron, OH, Barbara Ward of Anmore, WV and Darlene Moran and husband Richard of Clarksburg, WV; two brothers, Ronald Stackpole and wife Judy and Wayne Stackpole and wife Arlene all of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Curtis, Howard and Donald Stackpole. Mr. Stackpole worked at Moore Business Forms and Rite-Way Heating and Plumbing. He enjoyed wood crafting and working in his woodshop. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and was a Christian by faith. Friends will be received Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald M. McCauley officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Church Cemetery in Buckhannon.
