Obituary of Shirley Ann Scott

untitled1 Shirley Ann Scott Shirley Ann Scott, age 73, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at her home under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice. She was born August 24, 1936 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Hughey and Lula Cochran Westfall. On July 14, 1955 she married Daniel R. Scott who preceded her in death on February 5, 2000. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Scott; one grandson, Gregory Stephen Scott; two sisters, Lucille Anderson and Juanita Cline and one brother, Woodford Westfall. She is survived by one sister, Ima Gean Brake and husband Loren of Wilmington, DE; several nieces, nephews and cousins and long time friend, Lois Cutright of Buckhannon. Mrs. Scott was a homemaker and a Christian by faith. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Heavner Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Joseph M. Shreve officiating.
