Obituary of Kenneth David Vincent

Kenneth David “Dave” Vincent, age 76, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born April 26, 1948, in Gilbert, WV, a son of the late Fonzo Edward and Pearl Smith Vincent. On June 22, 1968, he married Vicki Karel Lewis who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Brandon Wade Vincent and wife Aimee of Ashburn, VA and Mitchell Lewis Vincent and wife Rebecca of Hurricane, WV; two grandsons, Nash David Vincent of Hurricane and Jackson Grant Vincent of Ashburn; two granddaughters, Olivia Rose Vincent of Ashburn and Lilliana Brooke Vincent of Hurricane; three sisters, Sandra Vincent of Sutton, WV, Sonja Carlson of Knoxville, TN and Nancy Sanders and husband Jim of Clarksburg, WV and several nieces and nephews. Dave graduated from Logan High School in 1965, attended WVWC from 1965 to 1967, then graduated from WV Business College in 1969. After college he spent the majority of his career working as a supervisor in the coal industry for Upshur Coals Corp. and Beth Energy and finishing his career as a supervisor for Trus Joist Weyerhaeuser. Dave was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Buckhannon. Friends will be received Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
