Obituary of Delmis Jack Keen

Delmis Jack Keen, age 71, of Ellamore, WV died Thursday, January 9, 2025, at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born May 4, 1953, in Clay County, WV, a son of the late Jack D. and Artie Ramsey Keen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Davis. He is survived by his companion, Deb Sims of Ellamore; one son, Jack Keen and fiancé Jennifer Worthington of Horner, WV; one daughter, Jamie Slinger and companion Jared McCune of Quaker City, OH; three granddaughters, Heaven McCune of Rittman, OH, Violet Slinger of Quaker City, and Paisley Worthington of Horner; one grandson, Jameson Keen of Horner; two brothers, Gary Keen and wife Cindy of Big Otter, WV and John  Keen of Buckhannon, WV. Mr. Keen was dedicated to his Ellamore community and was known for helping anyone in need. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, and side by side riding. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandkids. In honoring Mr. Keen’s wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
