Obituary of Geneva Gay Cassella

Geneva Gay Cassella, age 84, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, December 15, 2024, at her home. She was born October 23, 1940, in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Clyde and Ruby Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death  one son, Robert Lee Fortney. She is survived by her husband, Tony Casella; two daughters, Barbara Nine and Mary Lou Gump both of Buckhannon; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Jackson of Fairmont and Sue Ann Beere and husband Walter of King George, VA and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cassella was a CNA and attended New Life Tabernacle in Buckhannon.  In honoring Mrs. Cassella’s wishes, she will be cremated.
