Such a Buckhannon icon from summer league basketball and every sporting event to driving school bus he will be remembered and missed. But for us he was such a friend and best non employee worker the bookstore ever had..Sunday mornings were always special with your dad putting papers together..Steve Oldaker

This saddens me so much. I was one of those he called “Sweet Lips”. He was such a wonderful man with a quick smile. I never saw him angry. I spent many an evening at his house with Linda and got to know his family. Rest in peace Pops. You have earned this eternal rest. You will be missed. My sincere thoughts and prayers with his family

Carol Cogar was such a special fellow-I remember him when he delivered at the funeral home and passed out the bubble gum and when he was a bus driver at Tennerton Elementary-his nickname for me was BP which stood for blood pressure because I was having mine checked in school office one day He was wonderful man who spread happiness and laughs throughout his life!!!
I’m so very sorry for you all -love, thoughts and blessings for his family…
