Robert Zane “Fred” Shipman, Jr., age 61, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. He was born April 4, 1963, in Buckhannon, a son of Lounett Faye Johnston Shipman and the late Robert Zane Shipman. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved dogs and his sister’s beloved cats. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Felicia Faye Dean and a friend, Charles Alderman. Friends will be received Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 1 PM to 2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Reger Chapel Cemetery Association in Buckhannon.
