So sorry for your loss. We knew Darrell and Marie for many years and Marie has done our taxes for at least 30 years. Marie's Christmas card was always the first one we would receive each year. She will be missed but we know she is rejoicing in heaven with Darrell and other family that has gone before her. We are sorry we cannot be at the viewing or funeral because of a prior commitment. You will be in our prayers. David & Lynn Jessie

We were so sorry to learn of Marie’s passing. She certainly fought the good fight and will be truly missed by her loving family and friends. We wish we could be there in person to pay our respects but time and distance are against us. Know that we are there in spirit and with love.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Terecia?
A: Marie was a smart, gifted, and classy lady. A gracious and loving Christian with a sweet spirit and a ready smile. My mom, Edna, was Marie’s mother’s baby sister; but Mom and Marie were like sisters (being only 8 years apart in age.) Mom loved her like a sister, and she and Dad thought the world of Marie and Darrell (or ‘Bonner’ as they liked to call him.)
I wish I could have crossed the miles more often to get to know Marie, Darrell, Barb, Randy, and Doug better. I am so grateful for the love, patience, and personal concern Marie showed my sister, Susan (who hadn’t always fit well into family gatherings or some social situations.) Toward the end of Sue’s life when she was in poor health and all alone in a nursing home, and Mom was in a dementia unit, I was still living in England and couldn’t be there with them. Marie kept in touch with Sue by letters and by phone. Her genuine love and concern meant the world to both Sue and to me.
Yes, she was a dear. And now her body is whole again, and she is free from all earthly cares and struggles. In the presence of the Savior. What joy!
