She was born November 6, 1923 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Arnold F. and Alice Beeson Taylor. On January 6, 1946 she married Forest Eugene “Gene” Brown who preceded in death on July 17, 2005. She is survived by one son, Ricklin Brown and wife Sarah G. Sullivan of Charleston, WV; one grandson Marshall Douglas Brown and wife Jennifer Y. of Columbus, OH; two granddaughters, Jennifer Smith and husband Michael of Plainfield, NJ and Christiana Brown of Morgantown, WV; and one great grandson, Kai Smith of Plainfield. Mrs. Brown was a bank teller and a member of Good Hope Tabernacle in Buckhannon. Friends will be received Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 7-8PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday at the Good Hope Tabernacle with Pastor Holly J. Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in the Lorentz United Methodist Church Cemetery at Lorentz, WV. The family would like to express their appreciation to Beanie Criss for her love, care and attention to Geneva. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Good Hope Tabernacle, PO Box 1156, Buckhannon, WV 26201. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
