Louise C. “Lou Lou” Day

Louise C. “Lou Lou” Day, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, September 10 , 2024, at the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown, WV. She was born April 13, 1938, in Staten Island, NY, a daughter of the late Earl and Cecilia Scherb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell V. “Chub” Day; one son, Kenneth E. Day and one sister Linda. Surviving are three sons, Russel W. Day and wife Dorsey of Fairmont, WV and David B. and Mitchell A. Day both of Buckhannon; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. In honoring her wishes, Mrs. Day will be cremated after the viewing.
