Although she was my 5th and 6th grade math teacher at East Main Street School, she started each class by reading aloud. During those two years, we completed all of the Little House on the Prairie series, two Willie Wonka books, and The Island of the Blue Dolphines, and a couple more. I HATED math, but I loved my math class. She was an excellent teacher whom I respected. She also had a very tender side that was so appreciated. Prayers of comfort to her family.
