Auntie Pete was special to me I wanta to be a hairdresser like her ! Who would thought I did just that for 36 years ! She always gave me makeup and perfume when we got to visit which wasn’t often she sold Avon had the little sample lip sticks I loved them so she gave me a whole box of her samples ! I still have little tube of the lipstick ! She sewed! Played quitar ! Sang beautiful ! She was special to me
Phyllis taught me a lot about sewing, for which I am grateful. Homer and Paul were colleagues and friends at WVWC. We remember them fondly. Condolences to Teresa, Steve, and their families. Marje and Paul Richter
We were in from Ohio for a visit at FR and Millie’s in Gassaway and it just happened to be Applebutter making time and I was helping stir it when it popped and landed in my belly button and I thought Aunt Phyllis was going to bust a gut laughing it blistered but no harm done and the best Apple butter ever. Teresa, Steve and families - Your mom is going to be missed greatly. Known as Grandma Neighbor she was such a sweet, kind and caring lady. She always had a smile one her face and knew how to bake. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
Phyllis was an amazing woman and like a second mother to me when I attended college. She had such a sweet spirit and will always be remembered.
