Murph was a good friend and neighbor to my family and especially my father when I was growing up. Whether it was plowing snow or carpentry work at the Lorentz United Methodist Church or working on projects around our homes, one could usually find them working together. He was always such a kind and helpful man. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers

Over 25 years ago we had the privilege of becoming friends with Murph and always enjoyed being in his company. He was very kind with a great sense of humor and a gift of story telling. Our deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time.

Sending thoughts and prayers to the family. Rodney was the best, and will always be fondly remembered as a good, trusted friend with a witty sense of humor. Many people will cherish great memories such as his big smile, unselfish deeds, and the distinct aroma of Captian Black from his signature pipe! Rest easy, Murph.

Murph was a neighbor and good family friend as I was growing up. I have very fond memories of him and my dad working together, restoring old vehicles—I was fascinated with the process and with transformation of those vehicles. He was always so good to help out my dad (and vice versa) with a project whenever he was needed. Thank you for being such a good friend to my dad, Murph. Rest easy now; you’ve earned it.
