Bud Wolfe, age 64, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, May 24, 2024, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born January 2, 1960, in Harrison County, WV, a son of the late Clarence David and Irene Lucille Moore Wolfe. On May 24, 2013, he married Sharon Ware who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Loyd McWhorter of Buckhannon and Adam Madison, Jr. of Elkins, WV; two daughters, Peggy Shuman and husband Roger of Elkins and Hillary Hernandez and husband Edward of TN; one grandson, Leon Hernandez of TN; seven siblings, Ellis Wagner of Buckhannon, William Ray Wolfe of Buckhannon, Pearlla Sothen of Buckhannon, Edith Tenney of Buckhannon, Jeff Wolfe of Buckhannon, Wilma Ryder and husband Chad of Marlington, WV and Darryl Wolfe and wife Tammy of Buckhannon; special nephew, Amos Tenney of Buckhannon; brother-in-law, Steve Messer of Buckhannon; close friends, Keith & Judy Carr and their family and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothey Wolfe and brother, Aaron Brian Wolfe. Bud was a sawmill operator and loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and tinkering on vehicles. He had a heart of gold and was always helping others. Friends will be received, Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
