Brian Clark “Bubba” Phillips, age 51, of Elkins, WV passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 13, 2024. He was born November 27, 1972, in Buckhannon, WV, beloved son of Shari Morrison Phillips and the late Terry Gene “Toad” Phillips. On March 28, 1998, he married Tasha who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Eli and Issac Phillips both of Elkins; two sisters, Shannon Nichols and husband Keith and Katelyn Phillips all of Buckhannon; one nephew, Noah Nichols of Buckhannon and his mother-in-law, Kathy Burton (HAJA) of CO. Brian was the owner and operator of Phillips & Sons Pawnbrokers in Elkins. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all, Brian was full of fun, a jokester and loved big and lived even bigger. He was always seeking adventure, Jeeping, camping, traveling, listening to live music and lazy days at the lake. Most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends. Friends will be received for a celebration of life Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 4 PM at the Outpost & Event Center located at 20 Raella Lane in Buckhannon. The service will be led by Pastor Roy Schneider. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Bubba’s name.
