Donnie and Susie were always my church family and I thought about them often after Donnie’s stroke. I’ve always loved them very much. I loved running into Susie and he daughter in restaurants after church. Praise the Lord we know where they are. Reunited and with their Savior. Completely happy in the full enjoyment of God forever.
Susie and Donnie, Sr. were so faithful in supporting "Singing Seniors" at the Senior Center. Maggie and Jiggs always looked forward to them being there and enjoyed thier company. Susie continued to visit the center, especially during the Strawberry capping contest. We have good memories to this friendly and generous lady. Many Blessings to the family.
Rodney: I was sorry to hear about your Aunt and the recent death of your Uncle. Susie and Donnie were always nice to me and when I ran into them occasionally in town, they were always fun to converse with and talk about the old days. I lost my Dad on April 7, 2024, he was 86.

We were heartbroken when we heard the news about Aunt Susie's passing. Susie was good to everybody. We always enjoyed seeing her, spending time at her home in Buckhannon and hosting her at Mom's (her sister's) house in Manassas when she came to visit. Susie was always helpful to my mom, she never sat down but always wanted to keep busy and pitch in to do things for mom even when she was supposed to be relaxing on a "vacation." She loved laughing and having a good time. I wish we could have seen more of her, we will miss her terribly. RIP Susie. Our hearts and prayers go out to her children and their families.
Dear Libby and Don Jr., I will never forget our summer visits to Buckhannon. We had the best times hanging out at your house with your family. Your Mom was an amazing woman. She always had funny stories to tell that would make you laugh uncontrollably. She was a fantastic cook and always had something delicious to eat at your house. She had a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. She was a very generous and giving person. Always willing to help others. She made my childhood so much happier when we were with you guys. Benny, Libby, Donnie, and families , I am so very sorry to hear of Susie’s sudden passing! I have been and will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers . Benny you both were having such a nice time together. You made Susie have happiness and something to look forward to in your short time together !
