I'm not sure a lot of people knew the real Joe Tenney. He could be gruff, stern, and always had an air of quiet confidence about him. The four of us watched our children grow and become very successful adults. We shared tragedy and many happy moments together. He took his brother to doctor appointments when I couldn't, our carpenter when we needed something fixed, and our transportation on long summer drives. He was kind, funny and very smart. As my brother in law sometimes he would look at me and just shake his head when I ask him to fix something. I knew he would do it and make some remark about me needing to learn to do it myself. He was my brother in law, teacher, mentor, but most of all my friend. He will be missed so much. I'm writing this because his brother can't. To a sister, and daughter I never had he will be missed.

Charlene, Kessa and family, you had such a wonderful husband and father. I had the pleasure of becoming to knowing and growing with you all as family as my time with you at Office Sales and Service. Joe and I had many wonderful talks about what he saw when he was out on his deliveries and the jokes he was told . He surly will be missed. Much love and prayers in the days to come Kim Eubank

One of my favorite paint brushes was a fan brush Joe gave me when he had the store and I was painting animal rocks with acrylics. Special times all working at Basil and Robs new home and at picnics and apple butter making. He will be missed. Hugs and prayers for you all.
