untitled1 Mollie Culp St. Clair Mollie Culp St. Clair, age 88, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born January 29, 1921 in Job, WV a daughter of the late Harry Golden and Ora Mae Woodford Cooper. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Ronald C. Culp whom she married on June 20, 1938 and who died September 27, 1980; two sisters, Hazel Shedd and Thelma Howell; two brothers, Emmett and Leonard Cooper and a son-in-law, Randy Tucker. On November 1, 1986 she married M. Conard St. Clair who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Rosemary Culp Naylor and husband Captain Charles K. of Ewa Beach, HI and Sandra Culp Tucker of Plano, TX; one son, Ronald C. Culp, Jr. of Ashville, NC; one step son, Jeffrey C. St. Clair and wife Kathy of Buckhannon; two step daughters, Risë Kay Segur and husband Denny of The Villages, FL and Denise Straight and husband Steve of Buckhannon; five granddaughters, Carrie Bialous and husband Jason of Providence Forge Virginia, Shelley Dunn and husband Jeremy of Limestone, TN, Risë Beth Straight and Fiancé Shawn Hanifan of Buckhannon, Sarah K. St. Clair of Las Vegas, NV and Kimberly D. St. Clair of Buckhannon; four grandsons, Stephen R. Tucker and wife Chelsea of McKinney, TX, Dr. Christopher C. Tucker and wife Lisa of Frisco, TX, David Culp of Ashville, Doug Straight and wife Tisha of Rescue, CA.; one great granddaughter, Alexis P. Tucker of Frisco; four great grandsons, Corey D. Tucker and Mason C. Tucker of McKinney, Reid S. Tucker of Frisco and Michael W. Dunn of Limestone; and one sister, Edna Naylor of Cape Coral, FL. Mollie was the former owner/operator of the Rainbow Restaurant, member of First United Methodist Church, member of Chapter # 18 Order Eastern Star and a member of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose beautiful smile and warm heart conveyed her unselfish love of family and keen sense of generosity to all who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 5-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Damon Rhodes and Rev. Dr. Charles Godwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park.
