Nancy Critchfield, age 78, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born November 17, 1945, in Weston, WV, a daughter of the late Delbert and Wilma Burkhammer Gaines. Mrs. Critchfield is survived by her husband Bruce Critchfield; three children, Tim Critchfield and wife Charlotte, Tammy Wright and Chris Critchfield and wife Donna all of Buckhannon; six grandchildren, Tyler Critchfield and wife Dami, Aaron Critchfield and wife Lisa, Nia Leichliter, Evan Wright and wife Hillary, Kaitlynn Perry and Mya Critchfield and seven great-grandchildren. Nancy was a teacher’s aid in Upshur County. She loved mowing her lawn, working in her flower beds, and most of all spending time with her grandkids.
