I’m so sorry to have just found out you are no longer here with us Bill. I believe you have been welcomed with open arms by your loved ones who left before you. When Bill was my brother-in-law, he convinced me to go for a ride on his new "bike". He drove to Lottsford Vista Road where he gunned the bike. We went over a bump and went airborn! He thought it was hilarious. We both got in trouble from Irene. RiP, Bill. I hope there are Harleys in Heaven.

Not only my uncle, but my godfather. We spent many days and nights helping out when he bought his Spotsylvania property, fishing with him at Wayson’s Corner, and more recently visiting him in Elkins. A funny story is that as a kid, one of my many irrational fears was of the devil tattoo Bill has on his arm. He’d tell me it was going to get me if I was bad. It had plenty of chances but never got me. Uncle Bill got a raw deal from life a few times over but he was still funny and kind. We last chatted during the pandemic. It was neat having a virtual call with him. RIP, uncle-godfather.
