Elsie Grace Lewis

Elsie Grace Lewis, age 88, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Holbrook Health Care Center in Buckhannon. She was born September 6, 1935, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Marvin Poling and Virginia Lucy Kincaid Robinson. On February 21, 1954, she married Harold Andrew Lewis who preceded her in death on December 26, 2022. In addition to her parents and husband, Elsie was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Kay Lewis;  three sisters, Oleta Robinson Humphrey, Juanita Robinson Crawford and Creola Robinson Casto and two brothers, Glen and Lyonal Robinson. She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Lynn Lewis of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews and friend, Rita Lowther of Volga, WV. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and a Christian by faith. Friends will be received Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease Day officiating. Burial will follow in Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
