Obituary of Pamela Sue Hyre

Pamela Sue Hyre, age 71, of Buckhannon, WV, died Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born February 2, 1953, a daughter of the late Robert H. Sprouse, Sr., and Augustine June Queen Sprouse. She is survived by one son, Scott Wilson and fiancé Amanda Hamrick of Buckhannon, WV; one daughter, Tina Ruthann Couch and husband Charles of Fayetteville, NC; five grandchildren, Tamara Couch and companion Brandon of Fayetteville, Bobby and Nathan Couch both of Fayetteville, Deven Wilson of Buckhannon and Megan Norris and husband Michael of Culpepper, VA; three great-granddaughters, Magnolia and Maren Norris both of Culpepper and Kinsley Couch of Fayetteville; two brothers, Robert H. Sprouse, Jr. of Elkins, WV and Timmy Sprouse; one sister, Cheryl Lee of Buckhannon; friends, MaryAnn Gray of Winchester, VA and Kem Heater of Buckhannon; her beloved dog, Bella; cat, Fuzz and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Pamela loved her family and her pets and enjoyed fishing. In honoring Pamela’s wishes she will be cremated.
