It is with humble acceptance of Gods will, we announce the unexpected passing of Diana Lynn Riffle, age 69, of Buckhannon, WV. She died Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at home. She was born July 27, 1954, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Roy L. and Ilo Mae McCartney Collins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Luther Collins. She is survived by two daughters, Christine Wilfong of Buckhannon and Joyce Ann Bowers and husband John of Parsons, WV; two granddaughters, Katelynn Inez Bowers of Belington, WV and Anna Collins of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Marzell Collins of Morgantown, WV and Derrick Collins of Buckhannon; two great-granddaughters, Kimora Riley and Avionna Hunter both of Buckhannon; two brothers, Roy Collins and wife Sally Miller-Collins of Buckhannon and Lonnie Collins and wife Karen of Coalton, WV; four sisters, Patricia Richard and husband Bill of Selbyville, WV, Darlene Cutright of Buckhannon, Pamela Lewis of Weston, WV and Dottie Davis of Clarksburg, WV; several nieces and nephews. Diane was a Christian by faith. She was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her. In honoring Diane's wishes she will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
