Obituary of Alyse Diane Weaver

Alyse Diane Weaver, age 36, of Leesburg, VA died Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the Adler Center Capitol Caring Hospice House in Aldie, VA. She was born January 14, 1988, in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of Jerry Weaver, Jr. and Barbara “Bobbi” Tuttle Weaver-Floyd who both survive. On October 28, 2017, she married John Malmgren of Leesburg. In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her step-mother, Gail Weaver of Barboursville, VA; step-father, Dwayne Floyd of Manassas Park, VA; brother, Jeremy Hamilton of Manassas, VA; step-brother, Blake Pfaff of Manassas; step-sister, Courtney Kimble and husband Chance of Kent Store, VA; maternal grandmother, Martha Beers of Ashland, OH; mother-in-law, Dawn Malmgren-Wrenn of Harbor Creek, PA; sister-in-law, Kayla Malmgren and boyfriend Josh of Harbor Creek; brothers-in-law, Conner and Carl Wrenn of Harbor Creek; aunts and uncles, Neva Weaver Harsh and husband Lynn, Debby Weaver Meeks and husband Rick and Denise Weaver and fiancé Ed Smith all of Buckhannon, and Lynne Clewell and James Tuttle of Ashland, OH; best friend, Kristen Griffith of Monroeville, PA and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other extended family members. Alyse worked for the FBI and enjoyed traveling both for work and pleasure. She loved life, nature, and being outside, wanting to spend time by the ocean or in the mountains when she could. She enjoyed most things Disney, especially the festivals at Epcot. Alyse supported her husband on all his crazy running endeavors and made sure she was always there cheering him on and meeting him at the finish line with an excited “good job!” and a kiss. Her cats made her happy, often lamenting leaving them at home on trips. She unconditionally loved her husband, family and friends and was fiercely loyal. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Adler Center for their loving care during Alyse’s stay. Friends will be received for a Celebration of Life Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 2 PM to 6 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home in Buckhannon. In honoring Alyse’s wishes, she will be cremated.
