Phyllis Jean Cochran

Phyllis Jean Cochran, age 89, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, October 20, 2023, at Holbrook Healthcare Center in Buckhannon. She was born January 22, 1934, in Webster Springs, WV, a daughter of the late Richard Ralph and Aileson Carpenter House. On June 10, 1968, she married Mickey L. Cochran who preceded her in death on March 16, 2008. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Violet Thomas and two brothers, Richard and James House. She is survived by two sisters, Delores Casella of Buckhannon and Sandra Murtha and husband Mark of PA; one brother, Mike House of Saint Albans, WV and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cochran was a secretary and a member of the Wayside Southern Baptist Church of Buckhannon. Friends will be received Monday, October 23, 2023, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Wayside Southern Baptist Church with funeral service at 1 PM with Pastor Scott Owens officiating.
