Emmajean Vandall, age 90, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, July 23, 2023, at WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born July 23, 1933, in Summers County, WV, a daughter of the late Emmitt and Wanda Nelley Redden. On April 23, 1952, she married Denville L. Vandall who preceded her in death on April 30, 2022. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Billy Joe Vandall. She is survived by one son, Donald Vandall of Buckhannon; three grandsons, Donald Vandall, Jr., of Buckhannon, Robert DeMark of Philadelphia, PA and Frank Joas of Davis, WV; one granddaughter, Alyssa Lubonski of Buckhannon; one great granddaughter, Alitia Ryland of Buckhannon; one brother, Gary Redden of Hammington, NJ and one sister, Betsy Mullins of WV. Mrs. Vandall was a Registered Nurse and a Christian. Mrs. Vandall was a volunteer for 25 years for the EMS in Franklinville, NJ. She drove school bus for the Delsea Regional High School and helped with boy scouts groups 21 in Franklinville and troop #100 in Buckhannon. Additionally, she worked at Sharps Hospital in Weston, WV for many years. Friends will be received Monday, July 31, 2023 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. In honoring Mrs. Vandall’s wishes she will be cremated following the visitation. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
