Aunt Mackie was a special person, an Angel among us. She was always kind to everyone and never a harsh word. She carried herself with Grace and Wisdom that was apparent for all to see. She gave unconditional love to everyone. Her house was open to anyone. Whether it be for a visit, guidance or just hanging out having one of their famous cookouts. The quilts I have from her will be cherished for all time. The crocheted stockings she made so KaCey and Brandon would have also because my mom got sick and passed before she could make them. She even made Chris one so all the kids would match.
She will be forever in our hearts and missed by all who knew and loved her, but we know she is at peace with Unc and all of our other loved ones.
In the quiet grace of Aunt Maxine's presence, she was a beacon of optimism. Her wisdom, reflected in her thoughtful actions and spirited persona will forever echo in our hearts. The warmth we feel under the quilt she crafted is testament to her resourcefulness and talent. With a smile which illuminated any room, she loved us all with an unbounded heart. Her legacy of kindness, compassion and selflessness continues etching a deep impression on those around. She will be sorely missed.
Aunt Maxine was a truly special person. She was strong and independent while always being kind, loving and humble to those around her.
Thank you for loving your family so well, Aunt Maxine. We are thankful you are now with your Jesus. We love and will miss you! We will do our best to carry on your legacy!
