Juanita & family, our thoughts and prayers continue with you in your healing journey. Josh and Anna always brought smiles and laughter to our family. Too many memories to mention but our trip to Augusta and Atlanta for the WVU Sugar Bowl tops the list. Thankful for knowing him.

Just doesn’t seem possible at all, you were the baby of the cousins. I can remember just waiting for you to be born and get home from the hospital, what a big surprise we got. You weren’t a little baby at all, you were a big boy…. almost toddler size….. it didn’t stop us from lugging you around and loving on you though!
As the years passed, we didn’t see much of each other but hope you know that you were still loved, cared and thought about. Your wings were ready but our hearts were not.

One thing. Just one thing. You stick to that and the rest don't mean sh*t.

Josh lived and shared his life like he knew what that one thing was. This picture is from the porch of the City Slickers cabin at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico.

I met Josh my first year working at Stonewall and immediately knew we would be come great friends. He had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that always followed a funny story or when he was about to tell a joke. He had a perfect and loving soul and the biggest heart! My kids always enjoyed being around him and loved petting his big o’l dog!
A couple years back he surprised us with a visit to New Mexico. He and my wife Brandi planned the perfect surprise and they both got me good! I couldn’t believe he made the trip and was over the moon to reconnect.
We always made it a point to visit Josh when we would visit our family in WV. He was more like a brother to me and an uncle to our kiddos. I thank god our paths met and our friendship was strong enough to stand the test of time and the distance between us.
It is comforting to know that he is looking over us all now and filling the heavens above with his wonderful laugh and loving smile. His passing left a big hole in many of our lives but the impression he left on our lives will not be forgotten. We will miss you Josh and will reconnect again when the time is right. Till then with much love may you rest in peace brother.

Although there are no actual photos to represent the true friendship that we had, Josh will be in our memories forever.
Josh and I grew up minutes apart from one another, but our friendship didn’t start until working together in our 20’s. Josh and I worked at a golf club house where we were servers. Josh was the best at making work entertaining. I will forever remember Josh and all of his shenanigans such as being pulled down the Lightburns hill by a golf cart on whatever he could find. Josh called this “Turtle racing “!
Josh made every attempt possible to remain friends, wherever my family and I landed. He has been there and present for a very long time. When I had my son, Josh came to visit us in the hospital. He was reluctant to hold Liam and my husband put him in his arms and Josh held on tight to our new baby boy and told us that he had never held a new baby before. This will forever be one of my most favorite memories of Josh! ❤️
I still hear his laugh and I will miss the best hugs from him. Josh was a true friend, an honest guy and a respectable gentleman. He had a sense of humor and witty personality that would suck people into his world and make them want to be near!
Josh will forever be in my heart and will be missed dearly by myself and family!
Rest easy, Dennison! We love you!

In my 2.5 years of living in WV Josh was first a coworker, then a buddy, and finally a lifelong friend. The kind of friend you can pickup right where you left off even if its been years since you’ve seen each other. Ill miss our late night instagram post sharing marathons. Im sure he is still up to all kinds of Shenanigans.
Much love to the family and friends as we go through this time.

Nita, Patty and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I've known Josh most of his life and he always had a smile and never hesitated to ask how we were or did we need anything. You raised a fine young man and now he's an angel. Prayers for all of you.

Josh was one of my most favorite people in the world. So smart, so funny, so sweet. So many things make me think of him; lime pickles, over-priced hand massages, ants on sea-doos, capri suns, tomato soup etiquette, Bill Murray’s Kingpin hair. We were always laughing. These random things probably don’t make sense to anyone, but they make me smile. I think he would too if he could read all the things that people have written about him. He truly did light up the room. I will remember him always.

I remember the very first time I met Josh it was at Krogers over 20 years ago and he was throwing grapes at my husband from a few aisles over Lol. When I was pregnant with my first son Josh came over to help my husband with a project and brought Dairy Queen milkshakes he didn't know what flavor I liked so he ordered every flavor on the menu and let me pick from them first. That was just the type of guy he was. He knew how to make people laugh and also would give the shirt off his back. He will truly be missed.

My husband and I were on the side of the road on highway 33 in the pouring rain with a flat tire. Vehicles were whizzing past and drenching my husband as they passed mere feet from him. One person stopped that day.. Josh. God had sent an angel. Josh pulled his company truck so that traffic had to go into the other lane. Josh got out and stood by in the rain helping my husband! Not one other person had stopped that day. The topper.. he worked for the same company as my sister, United Rentals. She is one of four in the safety department over the nation wide company. After I told her about what Josh had done, she put in a word of recommendation for him. We ran into him several more times over these past 2 years and will always remember what he did for us that day. Truly the world has lost someone special.

As young kids, Josh was one of my very best friends. We shared the same babysitter, and I can remember always considering him family. I remember sharing twizzlers with him while laying in the bunkbed and laughing and giggling, and having sleepovers. We had lost touch over the years, but hearing of his passing left that punch in the gut feeling that I didnt expect. Rest easy friend, you obviously made a lasting impact.

Josh is truly one of my favorite people. Such a genuine friend to me and I send my deepest condolences to all who love him. One of my favorite memories in life occurred on a golf course with Josh. On a 330 yard par 4, Josh ripped a drive from the tee that flew past the green a good 30 yards. I was amazed at that kind of power. What was even more special was how he reacted later when I hit what is easily my best (luckiest) shot ever. I shanked one real bad from about 130 yards out, but it ricocheted off a big ol boulder about 90° and 40 yards to the left…miraculously onto the green and eventually into the cup. Josh was hootin and a hollerin, skippin and a jumpin and I think I saw real laughy tears in his eyes right before he tackled me in celebration. Josh had a way of making memorable moments even more meaningful with his zeal for life and the people around him. What a blessing!

I have known Josh for several years. He was in school with and very special friend of all 3 of my sons. That special big smile and an over the top personality I will always remember. What a great young man, he was an absolutely joy to know. I and our family will miss him greatly.
He was a little on ornery side, though in a great way. He was so funny and energetic, would do anything for a laugh. Lots of great memories of Josh. I grief for him and his family. Feel privileged to have known Josh. Praying that he rests in peace.
Thank you God for having Josh as part of our family's life. Will always remember all of the good times.
