Obituary of Dana Lough

Dana Lough, age 75, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, June 30, 2023, at WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born August 14, 1947, in Alum Bridge, WV, a son of the late Dana Gordon and Laura Mattaline Pearson Lough. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Gordon Lee, Travis Ray, Terry Wayne and Monte Hale Lough. He is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Wiant and husband Gary of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Maryam Wiant of Buckhannon; three grandsons, Qasim, Dean and Maxwell Wiant all of Buckhannon; one sister, Margaret Wiant of Weston, WV; one brother, Donald Roy Lough of Jane Lew, WV and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lough loved listening to music. In honoring Mr. Lough’s wishes he will be cremated. Online condolences may be made to the family at  www.polingstclair.com.
