Charles Rhuben Wagoner
Charles Rhuben Wagoner, age 75, of Tallmansville, WV, died Thursday, June 15, 2023, at his home. He was born September 16, 1947, in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late Elbert and Ressie Westfall Zickefoose. He is survived by his wife, Hilda Wagoner of Tallmansville; two sons, Charles Wagoner and wife Shannon of Buckhannon and Jeffery Wagoner of Cutright Chapel, WV; one daughter, Debra Hanifan and fiancé Kelmer of Cutright Chapel; three grandsons, Larry Wagoner and Dewaine Wagoner and fiancé Mackenzie both of Buckhannon and Willie Hanifan and wife Tina of Queens, WV; one granddaughter, Harley Wagoner of Cutright Chapel; two great-grandsons, Ronald and Kyle Hanifan both of Queens; one sister, Armeta Auskings of Buckhannon; one brother, Richard Zickefoose of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Neva Tenney and one brother, Ralph Zickefoose. Mr. Wagoner retired from the Department of Highways. He was an outdoorsman. Loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Wagoner was a member of the history of the Queens Association. Friends will be received Wednesday, June 21, 2023, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. A burial will follow in the Cutright Chapel Cemetery in Queens, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
