Arlene Rose Phillips, age 62, of Rock Cave, WV, died Saturday, May 6, 2023, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born June 5, 1960, in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late Darrel and Evelyn Sue Miller Phillips. She is survived by one son, John Bosley and wife Bev of French Creek, WV; two grandsons, Logan Bosley and girlfriend Jennah Abdon of Buckhannon and Hunter Bosley of French Creek; three granddaughters, Tadem Cornelius and husband Troy, II, Raven Streets and husband Dylan and Hannah House all of Buckhannon; one great grandson, Elijah Bosley of Buckhannon; one great granddaughter, Aili Bosley of Buckhannon; one sister, Melissa Phillips and partner Evan Hawkinberry of Buckhannon; one brother, Randy Phillips of Rock Cave; one niece, Aly McGee of Buckhannon; two nephews, Joey Phillips and partner Danielle Chewning and Josh Phillips and partner Amberley Ward all of Buckhannon; beloved dog, Toby and best friend, Suzanne Snyder of Rock Cave. Arlene graduated from Buckhannon-Upshur High School in 1978 and was a homemaker most of her life. She loved being out in nature, sitting on her porch and spending time with her family. Friends will be received Monday, May 15, 2023, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Church Cemetery in French Creek. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
