Obituary of Anna Lee Bennett

Anna Lee Bennett, age 80, born December 31, 1942, to the late Clifford and Grace Perry, passed away peacefully at Ruby Memorial Hospital May 6, 2023, surrounded by family. On January 24, 1964, she married Carl W. Bennett who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Teresa Russell and husband Paul and Tina Bennett; one son, Jeffrey Bennett; one granddaughter, Jessica Phipps; three great grandsons, Aiden & Tucker Phipps and Conner Smith; four brothers, Jim Perry and wife Connie, Rog Perry and wife Donna, Kenny Perry and wife Teresa and Danny Perry and partner Tish; one sister, Sandy Davis and husband Bob and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Justin Smith; one brother, Dick Perry and sisters, Marvilene Cosner, Carolyn Cowen and Karen Sue George. Lee was a great wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. With her great soul and heart of gold she would help anyone in need. She loved being a waitress at Tudor’s Biscuit World and several other local restaurants and enjoyed every one of her customers. She volunteered her time at the Salvation Army and attended the South Buckhannon Mission Church in Buckhannon. Friends will be received Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 4 to 6 PM at the South Buckhannon Mission Church; 144 Randolph St. Buckhannon, WV. In honoring Mrs. Bennett’s wishes, she will be cremated after the services and a memorial service will be held for the family at Buckhannon Memorial Park May 13, 2023, 4pm.
