Obituary of Delores Yvonne Henline

Delores Yvonne “Vonnie” Henline, age 68, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at her home. She was born September 15, 1954, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Cecil Ray and Delores Jeanette Bailey McClure. On July 20, 1991, she married David Michael Henline of Buckhannon who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Jason Payne and partner Bruce Johnson of Leland, NC; one sister, Tammy Skaggs and husband Shawn of Anstead, WV; nephews, Trent Dagley and wife Destiny of Buckhannon and Matthew Skaggs of Anstead; niece, Jennifer Skiles and husband Justin of Charleston; three great nieces; sister-in-law, Joyce Dagley and husband Darrell of Buckhannon and friends, Connie and Gary Cutright of Rock Cave, WV, Barbara and Bob Kincaid, Kathy and Ed Hamner and Teresa and Tim Kee all of Buckhannon.  Mrs. Henline was a Dental Assistant and was a Baptist by faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and doing crafts. Friends will be received Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 5 PM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. In honoring Mrs. Henline’s wishes she will be cremated following the funeral service.
