We are going to sadly miss Gary. He was such a special person. He would do anything for anyone. He came to our rescue more than once. We will miss going camping with him and Sherry. He could fix a hearty breakfast and grill a tasty steak at the camp site. We’ll also miss telling Sherry to “leave that man alone. Let him eat whatever he wants “.
Gary we know we’ll see you again.

Q: What will you miss most about Gary?
A: I will miss everything about him! After being married for almost 54 years he was a part of me, and that piece is now missing! Just having the comfort of knowing he was always there! He was my partner in almost everything I did!

We are saddened by the loss of our dear friend Gary. He was a quiet man, but had a great sense of wit and humor when given the opportunity. We enjoyed spending time together and Gary was always sharp, two steps ahead, and difficult to beat at any game, including cards, dominoes, corn hole, and golf. He was a kind and generous soul, ever willing to lend a hand to anyone. Gary was also a hard worker and could skillfully complete any home-related project with ease. Until we see him again in heaven, we will miss his friendship, positive attitude, and perpetual smile. Now Gary waits in eternity enjoying the peace and quiet, until Sherry joins him…

Q: Did Gary have any pets?
A: Gary was a wonderful man, a loving father, grandfather, and husband! He was a quiet man and always joked that he couldn’t get a word in when he was with me! He was a very, very hard worker, he went to work when he was in the ninth grade at the home hardware! After leaving the home hardware he started his own business along with his son, he was very proud that his son and grandson are now carrying on the business!
Gary loved his beagle, Lucy and she was very attached to him. Gary loved to go to the beach to eat crabs and believe me he could put them away! Gary loved spending time with friends, Johnny and Ginny Smith and Brian and Penny Parcell.
Gary loved spending time with his extended family and also his brother, Paul and wife Deborah from Las Vegas, Nevada, he cherished the trips that we took with them also!
Gary loved his church and church family but it was really hard for him to be in large crowds because of his very serious hearing problem!
Gary will be greatly missed by all who truly knew him. He will especially be missed by his wife and family! We are all happy that he is no longer in pain, and no more suffering! He has truly been thru a lot in his years on this earth, and we know we will be together again in God’s Heaven and for that we are thankful! We love you Gary and will forever miss you!
Your loving wife❤️

Having known Gary since he was a little child in Tennerton and then seeing him occasionally in the years following, I can honestly say that he was one of the most honest, patient and nicest persons I have known. I know you will feel the loss forever but I also believe that he is now in the Kingdom and will feel no more pain. Many in our community will miss his integrity, his work ethic, and his commitment to quality and to doing things properly. The world needs more like him. God bless you all.
