Oh Marsha I am so sorry to hear of Max’s passing!! I just heard about him the other day. He was such a good friend in high school. He sat behind me in Mrs. Jerans class and that’s when his ornery self took over. He would , more often than not, have my hair tied to my desk. I learned really quick to check my hair before I stood up! Lol. He was a good man and a great friend. He’ll always have a place in my heart and you will always have the space right beside him. Love you Marsha and if you ever need anything just let me know!!!

Max was one of nicest people I've had the great pleasure to have known since High School. Never a bad thing to say about anyone, positive attitude. One of the most memorable times was when my younger daughter & I were near his and Marsha's table at the Bi-Ci having dinner. At the time, I was going through chemo. Neither made me feel awkward even with the scarf I had on. Always a kind word to say, always happy to see me when I happened to be in Buckhannon. I'll miss him bunches.

Marsha, so sorry to hear about Max. I believe he was named after my Uncle Pete, Max W. Rexroad as his dad was a good friend of his. Max was a good guy. Sad to hear he passed away.

Max was a part of my family growing up. We had many adventures hiking through the woods and trails. He was always smiling and had a humorous personality. Always making me smile! I’m thankful for the time I was able to spend with him and Marsha the last few years. Dinners at the 88, reminiscing of our childhood memories. He always shared the story of my easy bake oven. I’d make brownies for us and then we’d head out exploring. I will miss you Max Lee! You did good on this Earth, now go rest high on that mountain! Condolences and prayers for you dear Marsha.

I have many memories of my Uncle Max but one memory that stands out is him trying to teach me how to drive a stick shift one day at the Farm.
