ShreveHelen Helen L. Shreve Helen L. Shreve, age 77, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born August 31, 1931 in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late William C. and Zuma O. Grubb Mills. On May 29, 1951 she married Robert M. Shreve who survives. Also, surviving are two daughters, Judy L. Metheney and husband Robert of Webster Springs, WV and Debra Summerfield and husband David of Atlanta, GA; one son, Terry Shreve and wife Karen of Grantsville, WV; four grandsons, Adam Radabaugh of Buckhannon, Travis Radabaugh of Atlanta, Clinton Radabaugh and wife Nicole of Buckhannon and Brent Metheney and wife Jody of Buckhannon; two granddaughters, Kalyn Radabaugh of Buckhannon and Lora Lee Summerfield of Atlanta; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Catherine DeBarr and husband Victor of Buckhannon and a niece, Beth Materne and husband Kevin of Buckhannon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Mills and two brothers, Billy and Bobby Mills. Mrs. Shreve was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a Baptist by faith. At her request, she will be cremated. In lieu of flowers contributions, may be made to the American Heart Association or the Arthritis Foundation.
