Obituary of James E. Boggs

James E. Boggs, 81, of Rossiter, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022. He was born March 21, 1941, to Delbert and Lula (Morris) Boggs in Pinch, West Virginia. Jim worked his entire life in the drilling industry and retired from S.W. Jack Drilling as a derrick hand. He enjoyed wood working and making bird houses and giving them to his friends and family. He could fix anything and make it work. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Anderson and husband Ron, Buckhannon, West Virginia; three stepdaughters, Angela Hinchman, Pamela Bassett and Kimberly Sothen; a step-son, Johnny Smith; a granddaughter Autumn Loudin and husband Nate; two great-granddaughters, Madison and Lillian; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Hampton Cemetery in Buckhannon, West Virginia.
