Christopher Michael Pyles

Christopher Michael Pyles, age 50, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, September 27, 2022, with his lifelong partner, Karen Lynn Gimmel, in Buckhannon. He was born June 30, 1972, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of Norma Jean Griffith and the late Jerry Joseph Pyles. He is survived by one daughter, Brittany Pyles of Buckhannon; one son, Michael Pyles of Buckhannon; one grandson, Elijah Deming of Buckhannon; his mother, Norma Jean Proctor and husband Arlie; one brother, Timothy Roberts and wife Nicky of Toccoa, GA and one sister, Jerri Martin. Christopher was a construction worker, a member of the NRA and an avid hunter. Friends will be received Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 5 to 9 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ed Lowther officiating. In honoring Christopher’s wishes, he will be cremated after the services.
